Alfred Gilchrist
Alfred D. Gilchrist is the Chief Executive Officer of the Colorado Medical Society, the largest professional organization for physicians in Colorado. Alfred calls himself a recovering health care lobbyist, having represented the Texas Medical Association in Austin and Washington for 22 years. Since his arrival at CMS in November of 2004, he has been instrumental in establishing and implementing the CMS Road Map (strategic plan), strengthening partnerships with component and specialties societies, and reaching out to other stakeholders interested in medicine and health care reform.
