Board Member Biography
Donna Kusada, RN, MS, CPHQ
Donna Kusuda has years of experience in the field of quality and risk management from both the hospital perspective and the managed care arena. She received her graduate degree in nursing from the University of Colorado and in currently the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety for HCA, Continental division, including HCA hospitals in Colorado, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas.
Donna serves as chair of the CHA Hospital Quality Professionals with representation from hospitals across the state. This group serves as a means of networking among hospital quality professionals as well as providing guidance to the CHA Board related to hospital performance measurement and patient safety practices.
In addition, Donna is the President of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Quality Coalition of Colorado (HQCC). This organization is the Colorado arm of the National Association for Healthcare Quality, an organization that provide educational enhancement for quality professionals in all setting of healthcare.
