Board Member Biography
Dennis Waite, MD, MSPH
Dennis Waite, MD, MSPH is the Medical Director for Quality and Performance Improvement at The Medical Center of Aurora and Centennial Medical Plaza.
Dr. Waite is a graduate of Ohio State University Medical School and completed his medical residency and fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He also has had residency training in occupational and environmental medicine and has a Master of Science in Public Health degree. He is currently a member of the Colorado and Adams-Aurora Medical Societies and the American College of Physician Executives.
Prior to joining TMCA, Waite served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Sloans Lake Managed Care and Medical Director, Aetna U.S. Healthcare. He has extensive hospital-based experience in the Denver metro area, including positions with Swedish, Rose, St. Anthony’s and National Jewish Medical Centers.
In his current role, he reports to the hospital’s CEO and provides leadership and oversight for all quality and risk management improvement initiatives, case management and utilization review.
