Betty Metz
Quality Improvement Coach
Betty is a graduate of the University of Iowa and attended the University of Minnesota - St Paul for graduate studies. Prior to coming to Colorado, she worked in Quality Assurance for Optical Sensors Incorporated and Mansanto. Most recently Betty spent four years at the Salud Family Health Centers as their Quality Improvement Coordinator. In that capacity she has worked on a number of QI initiatives including a diabetes collaborative, a Health Disparities Collaborative, patient registry implementation, Open Access Scheduling, as well as an Institute for Health Care Improvement (IHI) collaborative. Her years of experience in a clinic system that has successfully implemented many practice redesign strategies make her ideally suited to work effectively with IPIP practices.
