Staff Biography

Elizabeth Kraft, MD, MHS

Tobacco Medical Director

Dr. Kraft is a Board Certified Family Physician and is currently serving as the Medical Director of the Colorado Clinical Guidelines Collaborative (CCGC) Provider Education and Resource Tobacco Program.  She is also the President of the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians Foundation as well as working as an Associate Medical Director for Anthem Blue Cross of Colorado. She has been an NCQA surveyor since 1996 and is currently a member of the NCQA Review Oversight Committee. Dr. Kraft also assists small businesses in making health coverage choices. She has worked with managed Commercial, Medicaid, Correctional care, alternative care, auto personal injury, and PPO products in Medical Director positions for national as well as local health plans. In addition to managing utilization, quality, and credentialing programs, she has been project manager of innovative programs, such as email campaigns to select disease populations, CME programs, as well as accreditation compliance projects and correctional care audits for municipalities and states.
